Frisman Jackson (born June 12, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League. He is the current wide receivers coach at North Carolina State University. ==Amateur career== Jackson, a South Side Chicago native, played high school football at Morgan Park High School on Chicago,〔(Frisman Jackson ), database Football. Accessed August 30, 2007.〕 where he played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He was an All-City and All-State QB in 1997. Considered by many to be one of the best QB's in the history of the Chicago Public League. He is considered to be one of the best WR to play at Western Illinois University. He holds school records for "The Most Receptions in a Game"(14) and "Most Yards in a Game"(286). During his college career he was also the teams starting quarterback through his junior year, where he holds the schools "Single Game Rushing Yards by a QB" (109). As a senior WR caught 55 balls for 1,047 yards. Prior to playing at Western, Jackson was enrolled at Northern Illinois University as a quarterback. In 1997, became the first true freshman to start a football game at NIU since 1979 when he started against Kansas State. He would go on to start 7 more games that year.
